With US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on a leave of absence as his infant son prepares to undergo heart surgery, a number of celebrities have stepped up to take on guest-hosting duties on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. Shaquille O'Neal kicked things off on Monday, while Dave Grohl followed on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it was "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum's turn and he made his entrance memorable. With guest Ellen Degeneres known for her own dancing intros on her talk show urging and then ordering him to strut his stuff, Tatum starts hoofing it to C + C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" with the aid of several pro dancers. The result is as fun as you'd imagine.

Channing Tatum's epic entrance as guest host on 'Jimmy Kimmel Show
Channing Tatum never revealed to his dad that he used to reveal almost everything as a stripper.
Acting as a guest host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday night, the actor, 37, told Ellen DeGeneres that his father, Glenn, only found out about his past from watching her show.
“The first time you were on the show, you showed me the flexibility of your spine,” DeGeneres, 59, recalled of Tatum’s first visit to her show in 2010, in which the “Magic Mike” star gave her a lapdance.
“That was my very first time on your show, and I gotta let you know that that was the first time my dad actually found out that I was a stripper for a short time,” he admitted.
DeGeneres asked Tatum how his father took the news, to which he replied with a chuckle, “Not well I mean really, really not well.”
While the actor didn’t go into how his father felt about his previous career, we’re guessing he doesn’t mind much now. In May, Tatum brought a “Magic Mike” live show to Las Vegas, and in August he engaged in a little bump and grind with a cashier.
