Asta

Asta 「asuta」 is an orphan left under the care of a church in the village of hage. He is the wielder of the five-leaf clover grimoire and a member of clover kingdom's black bull squad. He is the main protagonist of the manga, black clover.

Asta is a young man of short stature with a muscular build. He has green eyes and messy ash blond hair with a single strand protruding upwards from the center of his head. He keeps his hair together with a black headband, which has the gold-colored black bull insignia and a red-colored four-sided star with three stitches on it. Asta's common outfit consists of a plain-white tunic with a v-shaped collar underneath a dark blue jacket whose sleeves extend only up to his elbows.

He sports a pair of matching shorts which has a stitch marks on the left side. His pants also extends just below his knees. His shoes is made out of two different cloths, the parts covering his ankles, the soles the same color as his jacket and pants. The parts covering his toes are white, a vertical stitch mark going from the bridge to his toes. After receiving his grimoire, asta wears a pouch strapped to a brown leather belt. Additionally, as a member of black bull, he wears his squad's signature robe, which is black and short with gold trimming and covers the upper half of his torso. It also has a hood and a gold-colored button located at the right-hand side to hold it together, while the left-hand side displays the squad's insignia.

Asta's most favorite person is the sister who took care of him while he was living in hage.

Noelle silva

Noelle silva 「noelle is a 15-year-old girl with a slender build and pink eyes. Her silver-colored hair is in pigtails, bangs hanging over her forehead. Additionally, she wears a pair of purple stud earrings with a three-leaf clover shape and a silver bracelet on her left wrist. She wears a sleeveless, backless, short purple dress covered by a silver-colored blazer.

The blazer has a backless design with sleeves attached at the back and extends slightly beyond her elbows with gold-colored cuff. The blazer also has a pair of flower-shaped pins attached to it around her collarbones area. Additionally, the blazer has frilly edges and a rounded tailcoat that extends down to her knees. Furthermore, the blazer extends up to her neck where it has frilly edges and is held together by a gold locket. She wears a brown leather belt that supports her pouch, which has a similar color and gold ornaments at its corners, where she puts her grimoire.

She also wears a pair of silver-colored leg warmers with a gold-colored cuffs at both ends and a pair of sandals. As a member of the black bull squad, noelle wears her black squad robe, which is short with gold trimming, looks like a mantle with a hood. It has a gold-colored button to hold it together at the right-hand side. The robe also displays her squad's insignia on the left-hand side. When noelle was young, she sports a braided pigtail hairstyle on the sides of her head. Her attire also has a heavy resemblance to her current attire.Noeru shiruva」 is a member of the black bull squad and is inducted to the squad around the same time as asta. She is also the second daughter of the clover kingdom's ruling family, house silva.

Solido silva

Solido silva 「sorido shiruva」 is a nobleman and the second son of the clover kingdom's ruling family, house silva. He is also a member of the silver eagle squad of the magic knights. Solido is a tall young man with a slender build. He has a long silver-colored hair and a pair of blue eyes.

He sports his hair in a french braid hairstyle but leaves his fringe and the hair at the top section of his head in a loose, messy hairstyle. Additionally, he keeps his hair, on the right-hand side of his head, neat by wearing a couple of blue hairpins in a shape of a three-leaf clover. As a nobleman, solido wears intricate outfits where he sports a dark-colored tunic and a purple blazer on top of it. The blazer has long sleeves and is held together by a two-headed belt at his waist.

The said blazer also extends up to his neck area where it has frilly edges and being held together by a gold locket. He also wears a light-colored pants that extends slightly below his knees and sports a pair of sandals. On top of his outfit, solido wears a dark-colored robe that covers his entire outfit. As a member of the silver eagle squad, solido wears the squad's signature robe in which only covers his torso. The upper half of the robe consists of a light-colored fur with the squad's insignia at the left-hand side. The lower half consists of a dark-colored fabric that separates the fur and a series of light-colored elongated fabrics that mimic the appearance of a bird's feathers.

Nebra silva

Nebra silva 「nebura shiruva」 is the first daughter of the clover kingdom's ruling family, house silva. She is also a member of the silver eagle squad of the magic knights. Nebra is a tall, slender woman with the narrow, pointed features prominent in the other silvas and pink eyes.

Her silver-white hair is slightly wavy and is left loose at the lower back while the sides and top are swept back in tousled spikes. Her bangs are combed to a point on her forehead. Like her siblings, she wears loose-fitting top with a high collar that is held in place by a gold band. Beneath the longer, light tunic, she wears a darker, flowing skirt that is angled so that one side is lower than the other.

She also wears strappy, flat-heeled sandals. Nebra has an unpleasant personality that is brimming with over-confidence. She is quick to judge and laugh at others, and enjoys using her magic abilities to toy with her enemies. She looks down on other people and derives pleasure from belittling those she finds unworthy. Like solid and nozel, she shows blatant disregard for her younger sister, noelle, and took part in attempting to humiliate her in the reception after the valor ceremony. 

Nozel silva

Nozel silva 「nozeru shiruva」 is a nobleman and the oldest son of the clover kingdom's ruling family, house silva. He is also the captain of the silver eagle squad of the magic knights. Nozel silva is a slender man with fair skin, narrow eyes, and small eyebrows.

He has pale, silver-white hair worn in a very distinctive style that is occasionally remarked upon by other characters. Kept long and straight at the lower back, the top and upper side portions of his hair are heavily styled and swept back into long spiky fringe. His long bangs are styled into a braid that hangs between his eyes and down to the tip of the nose, where a small cross-shaped pendant is attached.

Nozel wears the same style of clothing as the rest of his siblings - a loose fitting shirt with a high collar that is kept closed at the top by a gold band, but is left open below to expose his collar bone. He also wears loose pants, with tight bands just below the knee, and flimsy sandals. In addition, nozel wears the typical robe of his order, the silver eagles. This robe consists of a short, fur mantle with longer, frilled panels that hang down to the elbow. Like other orders, their squad insignia is placed on the left hand side. Nozel's mantle also has an attached robe that is long enough to reach nearly to his feet. His grimoire case is positioned on his left hip.

Krone

Sister krone or krone was a sister/helper in the promised neverland and helped run the grace field house orphanage with madam isabella. She possessed a large and intimidating physique, which coupled with her equally intimidating facial expressions made her seem dominant, though she outwardly often wore a bright, warm smile.

Krone was an individual who fought for nothing but her own, personal, agenda. She played nice when she had to play nice, scheming and plotting continuously while trusting no one but herself. She fully realized the evil of her own actions, and how the twisted system she was brought up in made her this way, but still carried on nevertheless. Her goal was ultimately just to survive, to be on the "Eat" part of the food chain.

She was brought up in an "Orphanage" similar to the grace field house and performed well enough on the tests to be recommended for mama-training when she turned 12. Krone was very intelligent, having obtained perfect scores on the daily tests during her own time in an "Orphanage". However, she was still inferior to isabella and fell short in her attempts to outwit her as she tried to usurp isabella's position as "Mama" of the orphanage. Nevertheless, she continued her attempts to obtain an advantage so that she can "Drag her down" from her position.

Trivia:
Her name "Krone" is the german word for "Crown", which fits with her desire to usurp isabella's position as a mama.
Krone left a pen she got and hid it somewhere in the house. 

Isabella

Isabella, also known as mama by the children, is the main antagonist of the promised neverland and the mama who runs the grace field house orphanage, known as plant 3. She is a woman with black hair tied into a bun that hangs down onto the back of her head.

She wears a black dress with a white shirt underneath it and a white apron on top of it. She has shown that she has a heart and cares about the children when around them. However, when she is not around them her true personality is revealed. She is really a servant to the demons who feed off the children. Her past is unknown, except that she was one of the youngest ever chosen to become a mama. She has shown that she is very intelligent and can find the littlest of details. She quickly and easily found out about the children's plan to escape and has been able to keep all her children healthy and top of the line.

Ray

Ray is one of the main protagonists of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, he is an orphan. Ray has dark, somewhat messy hair that slightly cover's his right eye, he wears the standard white uniform. He has dark eyes and a slender appearance wearing usually a tired like look. Ray is very logical and smart, and is usually shown to read books by himself. He does not seem to be very attached to other children in the orphanage as he is seen to be willing to leave them behind to increase the chances of the trio to escape.

According to data obtained by sister krone, his weakness is that he gives up easily. Ray is extremely patient and cunning, and possibly the best strategist among the three main characters, as evidenced by his working as a double-agent; while ostensibly being mama's spy/mole among the children for years, he has in fact been using that position in order to plot against mama for an eventual escape. Ray is shown to have been in the orphanage since a young age together with norman and emma. He learns about the demons from emma and norman and believes them immediately, because as he puts it "Norman would not tell such a stupid lie".

The trio works together to find a way to escape from the orphanage. At the end of chapter 12, it is revealed that norman suspects him to be a spy for mama. In chapters 13 and 14, it is revealed that ray is indeed mama's spy, but is in fact working as a double-agent and became her spy as part of his plan to one day escape with the others, thus making him a double-agent who has been plotting against mama all along. Ray is one of the top scoring children at the orphanage. He is a bookworm. Ray is also extremely perceptive, as it is revealed that he realized years ago that the "Orphanage" is in fact a farm, with the children as livestock, without ever having to actually see the reality with his own eyes (like emma and norman) in order to realize this fact.

Emma

Emma is the main protagonist of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, she is an orphan. Emma is young girl with orange hair with one lock sticking up and green eyes. Like all the other children at the orphanage, she wears the standard uniform. She wears a shirt and skirt like the other girls and has brown shoes.

Emma is sweet, heroic, caring, has a big heart and is a little naive, causing her to readily put herself at risk to ensure the safety of the whole group before anything else.

Out of the main trio, she is the most vocal and unwilling to budge on this part of the plan even as their power struggle with mama continues. Emma arrived at the orphanage ten years prior to the beginning of the story and is one of the three eldest in the home. Emma holds third place only behind ray and norman, and like the other two she can score a 300 in the litany exams easily despite their difficulty. She doesn't care about the tests much as long as she gets praised by mama. The other kids describe her as having monster reflexes and an astounding ability to learn.

Norman

Norman is one of the main protagonists of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, he is an orphan. Norman has short pale hair with blue faded eyes, he wears the standard orphanage uniform.

Norman seems to be logical, well-meaning, and devoted, with a slightly naive side, likes emma. Norman is helpful and loyal towards emma and will try to do what it takes to make sure she and the other kids get to safety and away from the demons. Norman is shown to be very logical, for the most part. He can easily plan his actions in advance and he anticipates on other's actions. He is one of the top 3 ranking orphans, along with emma and ray.
