Krone

Sister krone or krone was a sister/helper in the promised neverland and helped run the grace field house orphanage with madam isabella. She possessed a large and intimidating physique, which coupled with her equally intimidating facial expressions made her seem dominant, though she outwardly often wore a bright, warm smile.

Krone was an individual who fought for nothing but her own, personal, agenda. She played nice when she had to play nice, scheming and plotting continuously while trusting no one but herself. She fully realized the evil of her own actions, and how the twisted system she was brought up in made her this way, but still carried on nevertheless. Her goal was ultimately just to survive, to be on the "Eat" part of the food chain.

She was brought up in an "Orphanage" similar to the grace field house and performed well enough on the tests to be recommended for mama-training when she turned 12. Krone was very intelligent, having obtained perfect scores on the daily tests during her own time in an "Orphanage". However, she was still inferior to isabella and fell short in her attempts to outwit her as she tried to usurp isabella's position as "Mama" of the orphanage. Nevertheless, she continued her attempts to obtain an advantage so that she can "Drag her down" from her position.

Trivia:
Her name "Krone" is the german word for "Crown", which fits with her desire to usurp isabella's position as a mama.
Krone left a pen she got and hid it somewhere in the house. 

Isabella

Isabella, also known as mama by the children, is the main antagonist of the promised neverland and the mama who runs the grace field house orphanage, known as plant 3. She is a woman with black hair tied into a bun that hangs down onto the back of her head.

She wears a black dress with a white shirt underneath it and a white apron on top of it. She has shown that she has a heart and cares about the children when around them. However, when she is not around them her true personality is revealed. She is really a servant to the demons who feed off the children. Her past is unknown, except that she was one of the youngest ever chosen to become a mama. She has shown that she is very intelligent and can find the littlest of details. She quickly and easily found out about the children's plan to escape and has been able to keep all her children healthy and top of the line.

Ray

Ray is one of the main protagonists of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, he is an orphan. Ray has dark, somewhat messy hair that slightly cover's his right eye, he wears the standard white uniform. He has dark eyes and a slender appearance wearing usually a tired like look. Ray is very logical and smart, and is usually shown to read books by himself. He does not seem to be very attached to other children in the orphanage as he is seen to be willing to leave them behind to increase the chances of the trio to escape.

According to data obtained by sister krone, his weakness is that he gives up easily. Ray is extremely patient and cunning, and possibly the best strategist among the three main characters, as evidenced by his working as a double-agent; while ostensibly being mama's spy/mole among the children for years, he has in fact been using that position in order to plot against mama for an eventual escape. Ray is shown to have been in the orphanage since a young age together with norman and emma. He learns about the demons from emma and norman and believes them immediately, because as he puts it "Norman would not tell such a stupid lie".

The trio works together to find a way to escape from the orphanage. At the end of chapter 12, it is revealed that norman suspects him to be a spy for mama. In chapters 13 and 14, it is revealed that ray is indeed mama's spy, but is in fact working as a double-agent and became her spy as part of his plan to one day escape with the others, thus making him a double-agent who has been plotting against mama all along. Ray is one of the top scoring children at the orphanage. He is a bookworm. Ray is also extremely perceptive, as it is revealed that he realized years ago that the "Orphanage" is in fact a farm, with the children as livestock, without ever having to actually see the reality with his own eyes (like emma and norman) in order to realize this fact.

Emma

Emma is the main protagonist of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, she is an orphan. Emma is young girl with orange hair with one lock sticking up and green eyes. Like all the other children at the orphanage, she wears the standard uniform. She wears a shirt and skirt like the other girls and has brown shoes.

Emma is sweet, heroic, caring, has a big heart and is a little naive, causing her to readily put herself at risk to ensure the safety of the whole group before anything else.

Out of the main trio, she is the most vocal and unwilling to budge on this part of the plan even as their power struggle with mama continues. Emma arrived at the orphanage ten years prior to the beginning of the story and is one of the three eldest in the home. Emma holds third place only behind ray and norman, and like the other two she can score a 300 in the litany exams easily despite their difficulty. She doesn't care about the tests much as long as she gets praised by mama. The other kids describe her as having monster reflexes and an astounding ability to learn.

Norman

Norman is one of the main protagonists of the promised neverland. Like all the other children, he is an orphan. Norman has short pale hair with blue faded eyes, he wears the standard orphanage uniform.

Norman seems to be logical, well-meaning, and devoted, with a slightly naive side, likes emma. Norman is helpful and loyal towards emma and will try to do what it takes to make sure she and the other kids get to safety and away from the demons. Norman is shown to be very logical, for the most part. He can easily plan his actions in advance and he anticipates on other's actions. He is one of the top 3 ranking orphans, along with emma and ray.
